Passion Sunday Eucharist begins outside with the Blessing of Palms and the Procession.
Holy Thursday Eucharist begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes the ritual of Footwashing and continues with a Eucharistic Procession and Adoration until 11:00 p.m. in the PLC.
Good Friday Morning Prayer at 8:30 a.m. breaks the quiet of the day. The Church gathers for a short praying of the psalms and prayers of the Church. When completed, the Church returns to the quiet of the day. No other group, public or liturgical events take place until the Evening Service.
Good Friday Evening Service of Word, Veneration and Holy Communion begins at 7:00 p.m.
The Great Easter Vigil begins at sunset (around 8:00 p.m.) on the Eve of Easter, April 3, outside. A New Fire is blessed. A new Paschal Candle is let for the first time. The Church gathers to listen to the history of salvation in the Old Testament. The Church processes and enters the darkened Church led by the Light of Christ in the Paschal Candle. The Living Word is proclaimed. The Elect are baptized, confirmed and take their place at the Eucharistic Table for the first time.
Easter Sunday begins with a Sunrise Eucharist at 6:30 a.m. and Sunday Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Eucharist will also be celebrated in the Parish Life Center at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
