About the Book
The Holy Longing by Ronald Rolheiser is a guide to Christian spirituality that explains the innate human restlessness and desire for God, offering a path to peace through balancing essential practices like prayer, community, social justice, and embracing the Incarnation (God in human flesh). Rolheiser tackles modern spiritual confusion, showing how to integrate faith with daily life, sexuality, and the search for meaning, viewing our unfulfilled longing as a sign we're made for God, not just this world.
We meet on Thursdays at 9:30am in the Brandsma building (Rooms 203/204 - upstairs), beginning January 29th. We will meet for 13 sessions throughout the Spring semester. All are encouraged to bring a journal to write in as an accompaniment to the book being studied.
