Welcome to Whole Family Catechesis here at St. Bernadette Catholic Church! For our 2026-2027 season we will have all of our gatherings on campus with an available home-study option if you prefer. 

Whole Family Catechesis is the method of Faith Formation practiced here at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. We believe that the family is the primary context in which faith formation takes place. With Whole Family Catechesis as our model, we at St. Bernadette will support you and your family in your journey of faith formation. 

"Faith Formation" is a common term used amongst Catholic Churches that refers to the systematic catechesis of the Catholic faith for all ages. Here at St. Bernadette, to register for "Faith Formation" is to register for Whole Family Catechesis which encompasses all ages from PreK-Adult.

We offer multiple opportunities for every member of your family to grow in faith. Every opportunity aligns with the mission and vision of Whole Family Catechesis - to support you, the family, in your faith formation journey towards Christ.

We plan to have Whole Family Catechesis for PreK - 12th grade regularly on Sundays between 3:45pm - 4:50pm (Doors open at 3:30pm). Please see the Calendar below of which ministry will be in the PLC on Sunday's at 3:45pm (PreK will meet according to the scheduled days in the PreK classrooms)

• Additional morning times for Elementary: 9:40am - 10:45am
• Additional times for PreK: 9:40-10:45 am 
  • All the classes are dependent on a class size requirement/limit and having adequate number of catechists.

• PreK - PreK Classrooms in the Church Building
• Elementary - ECC classrooms
• Jr. High and High School - Brandsma Gym
• Notice: On First Sundays Jr. High and High School will alternate PLC and Gym.

Home Study Option: 

• For families that cannot attend the scheduled class times, we also offer a HomeStudy program.  These lessons will be taught at home, with a parent/guardian.  Please contact the specific Director for more information.

Do not let financial hardship delay registration. If you need to make arrangements for a payment plan or discuss scholarship opportunities, contact the Director of your child's program.

Parishioner Price: $75

Parishioner Price (after June 22nd): $85

Parishioner Price (after September 21st): $100

For those children who will be receiving sacraments next year, such as First Reconciliation/First Eucharist and Confirmation, there will be a separate parent meeting and registration forms with fees to cover those costs.
